What is your main product in stock?
We are well known for selling fabric and sewing supplies. However, we also stock art canvases and art supplies, crafts, dozens of buttons, knitting yarn, hardware items, costumes and party accessories; and a lot of funky and unique items too.
How do you sell your fabrics?
Fabrics, trims, ribbons are sold by the metre. We measure according to your needs and cut it following the length requested. You can buy a minimum of half a metre. And note that once its cut, there is no returns or change of mind exchanges.
How many emporiums are there and where are they located?
We currently have 2 branches operating and all located in Auckland. Geoffs Emporium at Dominion Road (Mount Eden) and Ike’s Emporium Browns Bay.
Do you still have stores in Orewa and Devonport?
No, unfortunately, Ike’s Emporium in Orewa and Devonport are permanently closed.
Do you have click&collect options?
Yes, we do. You can collect your order at one of our selected stores on weekdays. Geoffs Emporium in Mount Eden or at Ikes Emporium in Browns Bay. Note that under Covid-19 restrictions changes may apply and hours may be restricted to a few days a week.
Do you have contactless payment available in stores?
Yes, we do have Paywave available.
I’ve ordered something online, but I’m not sure what’s the status. What should I do?
We need at least a few hours to confirm your payment (this may vary depending on public holidays, weekend hours or bank updates). In any case, you’ll receive a short update by email or phone. Make sure to check spam boxes and extra tabs on your email account.
I chose courier delivery. How will it take for my item to arrive?
Usually 1-4 working days, depending on which part of the country you are. Also note that we may experience changes or delays due to Covid-19. View our section "Shopping in level 4" for more information.
I’ve sent an enquiry by email. When should I expect a reply about it?
We do our best to reply as soon as possible during normal business hours, expect an answer within 48h at least. You may expect delays during weekends, lockdowns or seasonal times. You can always phone first unless advised otherwise.
What are the payment options?
At the moment you can do easy online credit card transaction, online bank transfer to our business account or a contactless payment in stores. If you need any assistance with that, contact us. We’ll do our best to help you.
Can I pay by PayPal?
No, sorry. We don’t have that option available yet.
Do you offer LayBuy options?
I’ve received a confirmation about my payment. When should I expect my order to arrive?
You will receive a follow up email or phone call confirming when your order is ready to be picked up. If you opted for a courier delivery you’ll also receive a tracking number once your parcel has been shipped.
What should I do if my product is faulty?
If your item is faulty, please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for options on what to do or contact us.
Do you sell Halloween costumes?
Yes, we do! You can buy spooky accessories, Halloween decoration, makeup, face masks, wigs and much more. Every year you can find something unique. Stock only available in stores.
When can I expect Halloween supplies in your store?
We keep masks, costumes and dress ups throughout the year. We start putting out themed items at the end of September and beginning of October. Note that these items are only available in stores for a limited time.
I bought a Halloween item from your store, but it was faulty. How should I proceed?

I wanted to buy an item but isn’t available anymore. Is it possible to order more?
Usually Halloween stock is limited to what’s available at each store. But we can check availability for similar accessories and party items. Check with our staff or contact us for more information.
Do you sell Christmas items?
We sure do! Christmas decoration, secret Santa gifts and a variety of ribbons, wrapping paper and more. Stock only available in stores.
