This website is operated by Ikes Emporium Limited and is 100% New Zealand owned. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service at any time without previous warning. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
ONLINE AND IN STORE PURCHASES
All of our stores accept cash transactions, as well as credit cards, debit cards. Contactless options are also available. The name that will appear on your statement and any proof of purchase provided by us will be Ikes Emporium limited.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us.
There are occasions when we may need to restock items made available online or get a product or fabric from one of our branches when required. You will be advised about options and estimate timeframe for delivery.
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
This website and services provided in stores and online are subject to the Consumer Laws in New Zealand, which you can consult online at any time needed.
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to our Return Policy terms.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
All prices are to be paid in New Zealand Dollars and include any GST (goods and services tax) payable under the Goods and Services Tax Act 1985 unless explicitly stated otherwise. Our primary currency is New Zealand Dollars therefore your purchases will be charged in NZD. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. In the unlikely occasion of any payment issues, please contact your bank provider first and follow the steps as advised.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.
In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
REFUND POLICY IN STORES AND ONLINE
All sales are final. We do have a minimum of half a metre cuts for all of our fabrics, trims, ribbons and all the items sold per metre. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect purchases or change of mind once an item has been cut, or once online products have been delivered.
In the event that your product is faulty or that we have sent the wrong product or fabric we will provide options for an exchange or refund if applicable. A receipt is the only proof of purchase and you must have it in case of an exchange, return or refund claim. We reserve the right to evaluate flaws and faults before making any final decisions.
If the product or fabric is unavailable and we are unable to offer alternatives, an exchange or refund will be provided after analysing each individual case. All claims on flawed items must be made within 30 days of purchase and receipt must be provided.
SHIPPING AND CLICK&COLLECT
We provide shipping for North Island and South Island in New Zealand. Shipping overseas may also be available. Please contact us for quotes and note that extra fees may apply.
We cannot deliver to a PO Box number and signature is required and a card to call will be left if no one is at home.
